We welcome experienced restaurant professionals and novices alike. We’ll provide the training you need to feel confident working at any station – grill, cashier and prep. So, whether you have experience as a dishwasher, cashier, server, host, bartender, cook, prep cook, FOH/BOH or no experience at all, we’re always looking for passionate and ambitious people to join our team.
  • Prepare food items, such as wraps, salads, according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications or following directions.
  • Serve salads, vegetables, meat, wraps, ladle soups and sauces, portion desserts, and fill beverage cups and glasses. And replenish foods at serving stations.
  • Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
  • Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
  • Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

The Asst. Manager who is detail oriented, focused and enjoys the responsibility of ensuring the quality and safety of Rollz Rice’s delicious food every day. And leading/pitching-in to help their teammates.

The Asst. Manager is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. He/she maintains a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment; making sure malfunctioning equipment is repaired as quickly as possible. Principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Customer Interaction
Resolving customer incidents and working to ensure positive customer experiences. May take orders from customers and serve guests at counters.

Food Quality
Monitoring food waste and inventory levels, and resolving food quality issues.

Managing food safety which includes the following: ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and enforcing the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies and procedures.

Team Management
Managing crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules. Developing and cross-training all front of house Crew. Assisting with Crew performance reviews and the resolution of performance issues. Training and developing team members. Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the line, dining room and restrooms.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures. Have managed office paperwork management before
  • Have knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters, Food Safety Manager certified.
  • Someone who is eager to learn the ins-and-outs of running a business (P&L management, payroll food safety, sales-forecasting, staffing)
  • Have a high school diploma
  • Have restaurant experience

Prepares meats, marinades, vegetables, soups, desserts and other hot food products and portion food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final order preparation. May take orders from customers and serve guests at counters.
  • Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Rollz Rice of serving great food made from scratch food every day.
  • Prepare dough in dough mixer, following a recipe.
  • Prep soups, desserts(Kulfi) and sauces, marinades
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
  • Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
  • Receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions.
  • Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
  • Take food and drink orders and receive payment from customers.
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
  • Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
  • Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
  • Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Schedule activities and equipment use with Asst. managers, using information about daily menus to help coordinate cooking times.
  • They see to it that the kitchen is clean, organized and well stocked; and that the equipment is properly maintained and in good condition. And pitching-in to help their teammates.

  • Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
  • Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Schedule activities and equipment use with Asst. managers, using information about daily menus to help coordinate cooking times.

  • Ensuring that the kitchen itself and all Crew members meet the necessary guidelines to ensure there are no injuries or accidents
